“Fashion photography reimagined” is about the effects of fashion photography and the changes the genre made throughout history, what responsibility the photographer has to society and the way fast fashion- and high fashion – photgraphy differntiate from each other. While covering the historic and socially critical part that comes with this topic, the project will show photographs of models in an urban, industrial style area photographed as if they were wearing high fashion apparel while in fact “only” wearing normal, fast fashion street clothing. Addionally, parts of the images are doctored, but in fact none of the models have been retouched in any way.
